POSITION DUTIES:

1. Set a good example to other Scouts in attitude, uniform, behavior and speech.

2. Be active in the troop.

3. Communicate regularly with the SPL, adults, and your patrol members. Keep your patrol informed of upcoming events and deadlines. Call your patrol members at least every ____ week(s).

4. Plan, lead, and carry out an individualized patrol function (trip, social activity, etc.) at least ____ time(s). Officially report on this activity to the PLC or troop committee.

5. Attend and participate in Patrol Leader’s Council meetings at least ____ time(s). Speak up for your patrol and keep them informed about important decisions.

6. Give leadership to your patrol by organizing the planning for trips (menus, duty rosters, etc.). Attend at least ____ trip(s) as Patrol Leader.

7. Make sure your patrol members have duties and that these are fairly distributed.

8. Appoint and train a substitute to handle any of these duties when you are unable to be present.

9. Attend Junior Leader Training at least ____ time(s).
