POSITION DUTIES:

1. Set a good example to other Scouts in attitude, uniform, behavior and speech.

2. Be active in the troop.

3. Help plan, supervise, carry out and give leadership at all troop meetings and troop functions. Help the SPL as necessary.

4. Act as SPL when he is not present, as well as at least ____ times when he is.

5. Communicate regularly with the SPL, PLC, and leadership corps.

6. Attend PLC meetings regularly, at least ____ time(s).

7. Conduct uniform and attendance inspections at weekly meetings, at least ____ time(s). Report officially on the status of the inspections to the PLC and/or troop committee, at least ____ time(s).

8. Help train other junior leaders. Meet with them to train and/or evaluate their performance at least ____ time(s).

9. Appoint and train a substitute to handle any of these duties when you are unable to be present.
