Details:
Saturday, Oct 25-
- Depart from church at 5:55 am. (not at 6 am)
- Stop for Fast food breakfast on trip up- each individual pays for their own breakfast
- 9 am- arrive at trailhead and start hiking
- Lunch & Dinner- Philmont trail food
- Breakfast- Philmont trail food
- Come off the trail around 11 am
- Arrive back in Athens around 12:30
Eligibility requirements: Must be a First Class Scout or in the 2004 Philmont group. Other Scouts who are interested may request to be placed on a waiting list that will be approved by the Troop Committee.

Notice that we will do this section as four crews, each with a different hiking plan (our group size should be small for minimizing impact on the trail and campsites). Scouts with Philmont experience are indicated by * and some of them will serve as crew chiefs for the hike.
